Electrical Balance of System
Electrical Components for Optimizing PV Installations
EcoFasten offers a complete line of electrical balance of system (eBoS) accessories that are compatible with our solar panel racking and mounting systems and solar roof attachments. Many factors need to be considered for a successful solar installation, including the efficiency of the PV modules, the strength and durability of the solar roof mounting systems, and the dependability of the electrical accessories used. The electrical balance of system components play an essential role in the overall safety and functionality of an array.

COMPATIBLE WITH A VARIETY OF ROOFTOPS
Electrical ACCESSORIES
Junction Box
Junction Box
Our Junction Box can be deck-mounted or rail-mounted and is specifically sized to house four strings (DC/AC). Integrated weep holes, multiple oriented screw bosses, and pre-drilled guides on three sides (South, East, and West) provide a fast, assisted installation.
Conduit
Smart Conduit Mount
Smart Conduit Mount can be attached to a rafter or directly to composition shingle roofs to run conduit across the roof in any direction. The integrated flashing utilizes our proprietary UltraGrip Technology™, creating a watertight seal.
Conduit Mount Tile
The Conduit Mount Tile bracket hooks directly onto the tile to lift electrical conduit off the roof surface, preventing wiring from overheating. The mount is compatible with all Flat, S, and W-shaped tiles and does not require grinding or penetrating the tile. The Conduit Mount Tile bracket installs in seconds and allows for the conduit to be oriented in any direction.
Conduit Mount Comp
The Conduit Mount Comp is an elevated bracket designed to raise electrical conduit up and off the surface of the roof, preventing wiring from overheating. This innovative bracket can be oriented 360° to run conduit in any direction. When combined with a GF-1 Flashing, it can be installed into the rafter or direct-to-deck. The Conduit Mount Comp can be used on new or retrofit (existing) composition shingle roofs, utilizes EcoFasten’s patented watertight technology, and is also available in a configuration specifically designed for attachment to metal roofs, utilizing our SimpleSeal EPDM rubber bushing to create a watertight compression seal.
Bonding
ClickFit MLPE Mount
The ClickFit MLPE Mount attaches and secures the Module Level Power Electronics to the top of the rail. The MLPE Mount is designed for use with our rail-based ClickFit system and can be placed anywhere along the rails.
Frame MLPE Mount
The Frame MLPE Mount attaches, mounts, & fully bonds Module Level Power Electronics to the module frame using a single-bolt clip. This accessory can be used with any racking system to attach the Module Level Power Electronics to the module frame.
Module Jumper
The Module Jumper slides onto the frame of the PV module, bonding N-S (ClickFit) or E-W (RibFit). One Module Jumper per row or column of modules is required. Our Module Jumper can be installed quickly & easily to conform to UL 2703.
Wire Management
Frame Wire Management Clip
ClickFit Wire Management Clamp
The ClickFit Wire Management Clamp is designed for use with our rail-based ClickFit Racking System, and thanks to the two-piece construction, this clamp provides a quick installation to the rail. The clamp secures up to four PV wires or two trunk cables in place using one self-piercing screw.
ClickFit Wire Clip
The Stainless Steel ClickFit Wire Clip clicks onto the top of the rail and accommodates 1-3 PV wires or 1 Q cable and 1-2 PV wires. The clip responds to tension, so pulling wires through is easy. Since wire can run in any direction on the roof, this clip can be installed on both the north and the south side of each rail for optimum wire management.
